The Korean Regional Science Association (KRSA) was established in 1983 as a group of experts studying regional science, with the aim of serving as a window for regional economic revitalization and international exchange. As various research areas targeting the region have come to demand an interdisciplinary approach through the commonality of space, the KRSA tries to meet this demand. The KRSA aims to systematically approach regional problems by integrating theoretical frameworks, analytical techniques, and policy research in a variety of regional research fields into an original science.
